Principal Consultant

Cody Chan is a Principal Consultant within H&P’s Trading Services practice, specialising in US Quant Trading and Portfolio Management.

He focuses on systematic trading across mid- and high-frequency strategies, partnering with multistrategy hedge funds and proprietary trading firms in New York and Chicago. Cody supports hiring across quantitative research, trading, engineering, and portfolio management, working closely with the wider Quant team to expand H&P’s presence in the US market.

Before moving into Quant, Cody developed a strong track record across the US Private Markets sector and continues to maintain a deep network within private equity and investment platforms. This dual-market experience gives him a valuable, broad perspective and trusted relationships that will continue into the new year.

Originally from Hong Kong, Cody studied Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham. Outside work, he is a keen sports fan and has competed nationally in swimming and in multiple amateur boxing bouts.
