Senior Consultant

Agash is a Senior Consultant within H&P’s Legal and Compliance practice, focused on building in-house legal and compliance teams for energy, power infrastructure, and asset-heavy technology platforms across the US.

He partners with Independent Power Producers, utility-scale generation and storage platforms, renewable and transitional power businesses, and energy-adjacent operators, advising on senior legal leadership hires including General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, and Deputy General Counsel appointments. Alongside this, Agash also supports semiconductor and advanced manufacturing organisations operating within complex, highly regulated, and capital-intensive environments.

Agash advises on the full build-out of in-house legal and compliance functions – from first in-house counsel appointments through to established legal teams – covering commercial, regulatory, compliance, and transactional mandates. With several years’ experience focused on the US market, he brings a strong understanding of the legal and commercial challenges faced by businesses operating at the intersection of infrastructure, regulation, and long-term capital.

He works closely with PE-backed platforms, multi-state operators, and scaling infrastructure and technology businesses, supporting leadership hires through periods of development, financing, M&A, and operational expansion. Agash is known for his thoughtful, consultative approach and a growing network across the in-house legal community within energy, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing.

Fluent in Tamil, Agash enjoys exploring new cuisines and once had the opportunity to fly a propeller plane – an experience he hopes to repeat.
