Associate Consultant

Dan is an Associate at H&P, focused on lateral hiring within private practice across the United States.

He specialises in partnering with AmLaw firms to support Associate, Counsel, and Partner-level moves, with a particular focus on Real Estate, Structured Finance, and Leveraged Finance practices. Dan works closely with firms across the AmLaw 200, supporting strategic upgrades within transactional teams.

Dan brings five years of experience building consultative client relationships, having previously supported recruitment across finance and accounting teams and worked closely with stakeholders on individual transactions. This background gives him a strong appreciation for alignment, rigour, and long-term fit on both the client and candidate side.

Known for his relationship-led approach, Dan maintains strong connections well beyond the point of placement and takes a genuine interest in understanding what differentiates each lawyer’s niche. Outside of work, he is learning Spanish, enjoys a good discussion about the NFL, and fits in scuba diving whenever travel allows.
