John Silavs

John is a Consultant within H&P’s Legal practice, specialising in Energy & Infrastructure private practice hiring across London.

He partners with leading international law firms on strategic senior mandates, advising on the identification and acquisition of high-impact talent, typically at Partner and senior leadership level. His work is centred on supporting firms as they build and strengthen their Energy & Infrastructure capabilities in an evolving and increasingly competitive market.

He partners with a range of clients, supporting their long-term growth through strategic hiring. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, which he combines with an analytical mindset and extensive networking to deliver forward-looking talent insights to both clients and candidates.

Outside of work, John enjoys skiing and following ice hockey, and previously competed as a track runner.
