Shadab is an Associate Partner and leads H&P’s European Private Equity practice, with a particular focus on the UK, DACH, Benelux, and Nordic markets.

He specialises in placing investment professionals from entry-level Analysts and Associates through to Partners and Managing Partners across leading private equity firms in Europe. With over thirteen years’ experience recruiting across mainland Europe – and extensive exposure to the DACH region – Shadab brings a deep understanding of both the cultural and regional nuances that shape successful hiring outcomes.

Shadab has partnered with a broad range of clients, from small family offices to large global conglomerates, delivering hiring solutions for funds at every stage of maturity. The European Private Equity team maintains a 91% retention rate across investment hires – a testament to their ability to identify, attract, and deliver exceptional talent that aligns with each fund’s long-term vision.
