Commercial Counsel New Jersey
Location: Central Jersey, Hybrid
Salary: $160,000 – 220,000 base, depending on experience
Position Overview:
Our Client is one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, developing and constructing high-quality communities across the United States. They are seeking an Attorney to join its Legal team, with a primary focus on commercial contracts, privacy and data protection agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, IT agreements, and supply chain agreements
- Advise on privacy and data protection matters, including privacy-related contract terms and compliance with applicable U.S. privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy statutes)
- Provide legal support for real estate-related matters, including agreements connected to land acquisition, development, construction, property operations, and homebuilding activities
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 4+ years of legal experience, with experience in commercial contracting and privacy-related agreements
- Understanding of Real-Estate space preferred
- Coming directly from a law-firm into first in-house position preferred
