HR Legal Specialist
We are looking for an experienced HR Legal Manager to serve as the primary point of reference for HR legal matters within a multinational organisation. Based in their Brussels office, you will play a vital role in managing cross-border employment law issues and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure legal compliance and proactive risk management in all employment matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary legal advisor for all HR-related legal matters and employment issues across borders.
- Develop and implement HR legal strategies and policies to support organisational goals.
- Oversee compliance with employment regulations in multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with local and international laws.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects and collaborations with other departments on employment law topics.
- Advise on employee relations, contract matters, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with HR, compliance, and executive teams to ensure consistency and alignment in HR legal approaches across the organisation.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years PQE as an employment lawyer with strong experience in cross-border employment law.
- Prior experience in a multinational or international environment, handling complex legal matters across departments.
- Fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
- Proven track record of managing HR legal projects and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to legal problem-solving.
