She focuses exclusively on partner-level placements at leading US law firms, working with attorneys whose practices span structured finance, securitisation, and asset-backed securities. Shanice partners with AmLaw 100 firms on strategic lateral hiring, team acquisitions, and succession planning, helping firms strengthen and expand their capabilities in highly specialised areas of the market.

With eight years of recruitment experience, Shanice has developed deep market knowledge across New York, Boston, Chicago, and Miami, with a particular concentration in the New York Tri-State area. Her understanding of the competitive dynamics shaping the structured finance market allows her to advise clients and candidates on some of the sector’s most strategic moves.

Before specialising in legal recruitment, Shanice recruited extensively across financial services, placing professionals into fund servicers and private equity firms. This dual-market perspective, combined with her track record of building successful desks from the ground up, has enabled her to cultivate long-term relationships with senior industry leaders and become a trusted source of market intelligence across her network.

Originally from the Philippines, Shanice moved to New York City at a young age and brings the same drive and adaptability to her work today. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, practising guitar, and discovering some of the city’s best hidden restaurants.
