Investment Associate | Private Equity
H&P Executive Search has partnered with a high-performing, entrepreneurial private equity investor to hire an Associate to support their growing investment platform.
This is a chance to join a lean, high-calibre team with large-cap pedigree, applying institutional-grade value creation playbooks to mid-market businesses across Western Europe.
About the Role
As an Associate, you will work closely with Partners across the full deal lifecycle from origination and execution through to portfolio value creation and exit.
The firm focuses on mid-market investments across niche industrials, essential consumer, healthcare & pharma, infrastructure solutions, and mission-critical business services.
You will join a tight-knit team where responsibility is high, hierarchy is flat, and exposure to decision-makers is immediate.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities across Western Europe
- Build and own detailed financial models (LBO, operating models, sensitivities)
- Lead core due diligence workstreams and coordinate external advisors
- Support bolt-on acquisitions, integrations, and exit processes
What You Bring
- 2 – 4 years of experience in Bulge Bracket or Elite Boutique Investment Banking
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- High intellectual curiosity, strong commercial judgment, and ownership mindset
