Real Estate Counsel
Location: Greater Boston region
Compensation: $160,000 – 230,000 base + discretionary bonus
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Counsel to serve as a key legal advisor to support their growing real estate portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner closely with executive leadership, real estate, construction, and business teams to negotiate and manage complex real estate and leasing transactions that supports the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial real estate agreements, including:
- Retail leases, Acquisitions, Dispositions
- Easement agreements
- Reciprocal easement agreements (REAs)
- Purchase and sale agreements
- Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to internal stakeholders on real estate transactions and portfolio management.
- Support the company’s real estate growth strategy through efficient negotiation and execution of lease and development transactions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with at least one state bar.
- 6+ years of legal experience with significant focus on commercial real estate and leasing (either in-house or law-firm).
