H&P Executive Search has announced the opening of its first permanent US office in Miami, marking a significant milestone in the City-headquartered firm’s international growth strategy.

A specialist in senior legal hiring for leading law firms across the UK, Europe and the United States, the business has been on a fast-growth trajectory for the past six years. While H&P has delivered talent solutions to US law firms throughout this period, the move to establish a physical base reflects the scale of its US operations.

Indeed, the firm’s US business now accounts for the majority of its revenue and the Stateside move will enable it to capitalise on unprecedented growth and buoyancy within the US legal market right now.

Led by CEO and Founder of H&P Executive Search, Jack Hayes, the Miami office will be co-launched alongside Jo-dee Pearce, an equity partner who has played a key role in the firm’s recent success. Jo-dee, who has been with the business for three years, was instrumental in securing one of its largest mandates to date.

The new office will serve as a strategic hub for H&P’s US operations, enabling the business to deepen relationships on the ground with leading law firms and enhance its ability to deliver senior-level mandates across the country.

Speaking about the expansion, Jack said:

 “The US is a huge driver of our business, and opening a permanent base there is a natural next step, and having an on-the-ground presence is critical as we continue to evolve into a truly global firm.”

Miami was selected following a review of key East Coast locations, including New York, Boston and Washington DC. The city’s advantageous business environment, cost efficiency and quality of life were key considerations in the decision.

Jack added:

 “We needed an East Coast base that allowed us to stay closely connected to our London headquarters but also offered the right environment for growth. Miami provides that balance, along with a strong financial and lifestyle proposition.”

The firm has already begun building a high-performing team in Miami, with plans to recruit three additional consultants. In contrast to traditional approaches, H&P is targeting top recruitment talent from outside the legal sector and investing in developing them into specialists in senior legal hiring.

The Miami office represents a “proof of concept” for further international expansion, with H&P Executive exploring additional locations as part of its  long-term growth strategy.

With the global legal sector continuing to expand and evolve, H&P Executive Search is positioning itself to capitalise on increasing demand from ambitious law firms seeking senior talent across key markets.
